It's a PC running Ubuntu 25.10 with GNOME, Wayland, and Kernel 6.17.0-8-generic.
Processor 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700K × 20
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
Graphics 1: Intel Corporation AlderLake-S GT1

From the error log:

Code: Select all

# Problematic frame:
# C [libnvidia-glcore.so.580.95.05+0xd6c213]

You can start the connect control panel in the terminal with the assignment to Intel graphics and see if it works. Unfortunately, I can't remember the command for that.
For similar reasons, I have moved away from Nvidia.

Interesting. If I set the priority to the integrated Intel card, the app crashes as well, this time with:

Code: Select all

# Problematic frame:
# C [libvulkan_intel.so+0x378d02]
Meanwhile, enough testers have shown that something is going on:

Been on the fence abut getting one of these. It seems to make sense as a bitwig user but I am concerned about the headphone amp a bit.
I also just hope they come out with a more substantial offering. Does anyone have any insight as to how likely this is? It's been a minute now since the connect was released. I would be a little bit worried about buying one and then a new one coming out....
