For separate editing you will need to make sure the EDIT BOTH button is not high lighted (on).

Just tested it and it works as it should here.ghostwhistler wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2026 3:15 pm could someone explain correctly how to edit each layer separately? Every time I try it just ends up editing both so that both layers sound the same. The manual is just unhelpful on this (as usual, gofrce's workflow is needlessly obtuse). Doesn't matter if i select either layer or solo, or swith the layer button to the corresponding layer. It never works and this is highly frustrating
Are you sure that Edit Both is disabled so you can click on the part you want to change.
If that is not disabled it will change both parts at the same time.

Thanks
I noticed the both element was active. But oi had to restart the plug in because I couldn't toggle it. Bit annoying but seems to work.
Is there any way to assign the mod wheel to a different parameter rather than it's hardwired function ( the way you can with repro) ?

To assign the wheel (or any continuous control) to a modulation source, click CC in the bottom right corner. Go wild.

Thanks
Is it possible to set the modulation, using the CC method, to have a minimum amount? if not then it seems to default to starting at zero. So if I want to mod the cutoff then it sets the cutoff to zero, which I might not want

You should be able to set the modulation amount to any setting you want at the patch level. Then, when you assign the CC controller to that parameter it should recall to the position you saved in the patch. So, if you want the mod wheel at 50% for your patch you should save the patch with it at 50% and it should recall at 50% once you have assigned CC 11 to the mod wheel as a controller. Note that you can also save and recall customized CC assignment templates.

I listened to this and from the very first sound Repro sounds analogue and G Force not. It just sounds too hard. Their other synths are no different.
A lot of developers just don't get it right. Hard filters that have not been worked on deeply enough probably.
I am always amazed people cannot hear this instantly.
Maybe people like that sound, which is valid.
