"Any contribution of $10 or more grants you a lifetime license, should future releases become paid. Note that older versions may stop working once newer ones are released."

Yes. Enter $0 as the price there (or enter $10 if you want to receive a license).

And it doesn’t have to just be $10. I donated $15, and I think it’s worth more than that (it’s just that I’m on a tight budget).

If you paid for EightyEight before, the download will be in your Gumroad library and you may have been emailed a serial number (I received mine immediately after I paid).
