There's the Bitwig 6 Quick Guide... also the changelog mentions it IIRC.

Hello ere2learn, you've always been helpful, so here's a question for you: Can you please tell us what sample-rate and bit-depth the Master Recording feature records at? Does it record at 24-Bit or 32-Bit Floating Point? And is there an option to change it? Thank you.

The sample rate follows your project setting.

The bit-depth is decided by Settings/Recording/Created Audio - Recording Resolution.

Ok, I never thought that I would be asking a question like this, but here goes. Bitwig 6.1 is on Beta 3 and my annual upgrade is due. 1) Do I need to pay to be able to access the first non-beta release? 2) Should I even expect the first non-beta release to come during the next 12 months?

If your upgrade plan was valid for the beta on day 1 you get all 6.1 and 6.1xx releases even if your upgrade plan expires 1 day after the beta arrived without paying anything...

Just for 6.2 you would need a new active plan...
2) Should I even expect the first non-beta release to come during the next 12 months?
Normally beta phases go over about 3 month before the official release...
V6 beta was an exception because of huge changes...
Now 6.1 is a much smaller update nearly exclusive for the Sampler which shall bring the beta phase to it´s usual about 3 month period...

Great. Thanks. I'll hold off then and wait to see what 6.2 brings.

And guess what Bitwig has implemented once again a half baked controller script for the new arturia minilab 37 keyboard i recently bought. When i lock the transport buttons the encoders and sliders control nothing after that. Bitwig has really no love for getting their controller scripts straight an correct functioning. I am not going to sent a bug report because it will end in vacuum.

And Ableton and Cubase implemented keyboard script right works as it should.

I have noticed a annoying issue in the piano roll.

When you have made two individual recordings on the same track and you open the first part in the piano roll and choose select all in that part and do some changes to that part it will also make changes on the second part.

Sounds like the detail editor is in track mode? Change to "Clip" mode to edit just the one clip.
