I didn't dismiss anything. I simply said I didn't think 15 minutes was long enough to thoroughly test the plugin, which I stand by. It actually has a lot of features and is pretty versatile.jacques81 wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 10:38 pmActually you were being dismissive and that deserves to be called out.TheSweetSpot wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 10:06 pmThank you - glad you agreejacques81 wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 7:59 pmFantastic logic, I can see now why you liked this plugin, enjoy...TheSweetSpot wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 6:30 pmRespectfully, I don't know why you felt the need to say this? You're free to 'choose between' whoever's opinion you like without announcing it.jacques81 wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 5:22 pmRespectfully, if I have to choose between your subjective opinion and bmanic, I would definitely choose his, I have learned a lot from him,TheSweetSpot wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2026 4:33 pm
'People don't see things how they are. People see things how they are.'![]()
My prior explanation of why I liked the plugin wasn't already enough for you? That's a shame.
'Don't you know who I am?'
'Don't you know who he is?'
I was positive about the plugin and he came along and tried to invalidate me and the others who were positive about it then got very defensive when called out on it. It doesn't matter how much experience he has, how many Fab Filter presets he has, how many posts he has or how many people he's helped with said posts. He was dismissive and patronising. That deserves to be called out.
After spending more time with the plugin, I still like it. Will I use it in projects? From time to time I might. I stand by all the positive things I said about it earlier in the thread, regardless of those things being omitted when I've been quoted or my opinion not holding as much weight as someone else's.
He just stated his opinion as you did and you dismissed his knowledge and experience which is proven but yours is not, respectfully again.
as I said before, fantastic logic.
your behavior is strengthening and is strengthening your subjective opinion, keep going.
enjoy the plugin,
I don't care about my experience and knowledge being proven on a forum. I don't care about being popular here. I care about my clients being happy and being the best engineer I can be. And when it comes to new tools, I personally like to take time to get to know their features and learn them before deciding whether to buy them and/or commit to using them in my workflow. And if I don't like them, I'll leave constructive feedback rather than announce how I deleted them and question everyone else's experience of using them.
