Wow. Are you guys trying to get that guy fired or what? He was given a piece of software that obviously wasnt ready to be seriously tweaked with. Not only that, but this demo was obviously meant for hung over guitar players.
I liked the guy, he seemed genuine instead of some tv informercial juicer salesman.

I tend to agree... I mean, it wasn't a spectacular demo or anything, but it had the feeling of, "OK, so I know nothing about Tracktion... what's it like?"Montana wrote:Wow. I think Mackie should hire this guy to do the video demo

I just wish he sounded like he has some clue about T2. Basically, he could have been talking about any DAW. 'It has some plugins...'. If I never tried Tracktion, I would have been thinking, ok, next booth please.

Do you know him?bassport wrote:this moderator is an idiot.
It's a failure of the management, if they order someone to make a demo, who can't show the benefits of the product.
We know absolutely nothing, how long he had time to prepare or if he even uses T.
With such a statement you show only, who is the real idiot.

the drum fills that guy did were amazing. such finger technique. and great close ups of the "action".
and, yeah, that mackie dude's demo sucked. it's like he didn't even know or care about the program. sad. i will definitely be upgrading to t2 but seeing something like that is disheartening.
