you are working in a buffer with stepchild.. so you have to right click the pattern # to save it there. This was done, because a lot of times you are working with variations of your initial pattern... that way you shift a note here and there then right click to save your new version to a new pattern #. Unfortunately no... however, stepchild barely stimulates the cpu, so you can open up another instance.2. Can I have more than one pattern playing at a time? For different channels, layers, etc.
