I am positively delighted to have Apple Silicon native versions of a few more beloved synths. Thank you so much for making this a priority, when it was doubtless not how you planned to spend so much time and energy back at the start of 2020. Then again, a whole lot of things haven't exactly gone the way anyone might have hoped since then!
I very much appreciate that your focus isn't just making things work, but laying a solid foundation for the continued evolution of your products and that it takes time to do it right.

I tried to install the plugin updates on an Acer 4k Laptop (ConceptD 9 Pro) with Windows 10 - scaling set to 250%.
It' impossible to finish the installer since the screen where you have to set your VST path is completely messed up and unreadably in this resolution.

That unfortunately happens when you use Windows' own OS scaling for desktop items/fonts. Our installer (a third-party tool) has that quirk, not quite fit for 4k and font scaling. You could try to turn the scalings off for the installation.

The screen has a size of around 20 inch or less - 4k are practically unusable. I'll try to reduce the resolution without using scaling. Thank's for the feedback. The unshushable Coktor wrote: Mon Aug 16, 2021 2:59 pm That unfortunately happens when you use Windows' own OS scaling for desktop items/fonts. HIVE 2.1.1 crashing in Windows 7 64 after update over 2.1.
Thanks for updates!
While everything is fine on Win10, Hive 2.1.1 update does not work on my Windows 7 64 (fully updated).
After installing HIVE 2.1.1. it crashes with any DAW and plugin host container. Also I tried a full fresh install fresh by uninstalling v. 2.1, it didn't work either.
All is fine with Zebra and DIVA updates, although I have to remark them sometimes takes longer to load than before of update. But just HIVE is crashing in Win7 64 which I use as a remote / movil computer.
Any on the same OS (WIN7 64) reports?.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: reaper(x64).exe
Application Timestamp: 5e130889
Fault Module Name: Hive(x64).vst3

Hi Jazzguitar,
so far no similar reports but that doesn't say much of course. Can you get in touch with us at Support please?
Write to support[at]u-he.com and also include info about your exact CPU model please.
I'll have more questions then.
Thanks!

Hello,
I currently use an old laptop for composing as my main computer needs repair.
MacBook (13-inch, Early 2009) OS 10.11 El Capitan Logic 10.3.3
All u-he synth working before update, now they all crash Logic when I create a new track with u-he instrument, or double click to display GUI on an existing track.
I can play the instruments on existing projects, i can duplicate existing u-he instrument tracks, but i can't add or modify anything as i can't display plugin GUI without crashing...
Any ideas ?
Thanks !
Edit : It seems processor (core 2 duo) is not supported any more, (Intel Nehalem minimum) will try re-installing previous versions.

That is correct, I'm afraid. We use a newer instruction set on Intel processors.
The previous versions should work fine and can be found in our release archive:

@u-he staff
I just finished a theme for the previous Zebra2/HZ version. As far as I see there is no change on this version which would "break" my theme, or?

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

No new parameters have been added to Zebra and ZebraHZ in this update, just some bugs have been fixed.noiseresearch wrote: Wed Aug 25, 2021 12:54 pm As far as I see there is no change on this version which would "break" my theme, or?
Your theme should work just fine with the current version 2.9.3.
