Funny, just watched that Rick Beato video yesterday. I get his points, but let's see how it plays out. Tastes and trends can change with humans.

Btw. the mentioned soundpack was not made with AI (just the cover art), but it's actually a slippery slope between using algorithms to generate ideas and using AI. My take: AI is not the problem by itself, it's about how much work and decisions it takes away. Now AI is capable to generate a complete track, just by guiding it with instructions. There's not much music skill required here, just needing "taste" for judging results and some prompt engineering skills.

With generating presets, it's different and imho it does not matter whether this is done by AI or by "old-school" algorithms. It still takes real skill to make music out of synth presets.

This discussion should be moved to a different thread, though?

48 free patches for Tyrell N6. All dialed-up from scratch or from each other, no 3rd party assets used.

The demo is very dark, and only features a few of these patches. External effects are used since on board there are only chorus and ring modulation. Still, it sounds terrific w/o any effects at all.

Which is a signature of really good instruments.
