Has anyone managed to get the new standalones to work on Windows XP? I've tried it. The interface comes up, but whenever I try to open Options to configure, I get a windows error message and the system shuts down. This is the same for both ChineeKong and ChineeWinds. I have gotten the new VSTI versions working, though there was some difficulty with folders during the installation and I had to manually reconfigure the samples and the folders in ChineeWinds to get it to work properly.

Hi Dave,
1) it may have something to do with using certain USB interface. What's your USB interface?
2) you could reinstall the sample installer in that case. But it seems you already have fixed it manually...
