Hi,

Just a quick question:

I noticed that everytime I start ChineeErhu, the ModWheel/Aftertouch layers are deactivated. So everytime I start ChineeErhu or even only change a patch, I need to turn Modwheel on again, because ChineeErhu doesn't remember changes.

That is a bit annoying.

It's not a huge problem, but if you could put it on the list for the next maintenance update, I'd be thankful. :hihi:

Hi Gustar, it's set to off by default, as quite some ChineeWinds users told us they are not used to it. We'll think it over again...

BTW, all users are welcome to add your thoughts about it here, so we can get the idea of how many of you find which way is more preferable.

*EDIT: I misread your question, sorry. About remembering the changes you make in the same session, same instance, that works fine here in eXT and Cubase. It can be rembmered if you save the project as well. Or, you might want to save a *.fxb to minimize the trouble...

Hi,

I am aware of the fact that Cubase will save the changes once I made them. I just don't want to do changes in the options menu every time I open a new instance of ChineeErhu when there seems to be no reason for it. :o

Added to this, I am using ChineeErhu often as standalone to do a a little jamming. I just don't understand why you would integrate the possibility of switching with the modwheel and then deactivate this option by default :?:

Off-Topic: Generally, I like the possibility to use the modwheel, because it works as a one-time switch as opposed to a keyswitch.

Gustar, we decided to turn it off in ChineeErhu because the complaints from many Chinese users of ChineeWinds.

We'll need to hear more comments from you guys though. We are all ears. 8)

Ok, now I understand. :)

It would be really interesting to hear from other people why they don't like the modwheel and what they want instead (more keyswitches ?). 8)
