in a future update would it be possible to get like a click and hold then drag... to select audio parts, instead of the normal way of moving the start and end bars?

Hrm?
Your request doesn't seem too clear. Are you talking about selecting or moving? Multiple? In what way?
Try this, though: Hold the "Alt" key, which will make your cursor into a crosshair, and then select multiple audio parts. When you press "Alt", it has to be on an 'empty space' in a track, not over top of a clip. Does that help?

by the way... when i over lap sounds in tracktion on one track, ie: a double crash sound, would the two tail ends of the crashes play without one being cut off by the other?

you can layer as many clips as you want on a single track.syncopated_silence wrote:by the way... when i over lap sounds in tracktion on one track, ie: a double crash sound, would the two tail ends of the crashes play without one being cut off by the other?
Conversely, if you want to remove overlaps, there is an option in the properties panel for automatically trimmign overlapping clips.
