Hello,

I need yang qin sounds for a project I'm doing, but it appears that Kong Audio doesn't offer such a VST yet. Does anyone have any experience with yang qin samples available elsewhere? Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Jayke

We probably won't make a Yang Qin at all. Even if we do make one, it'll be rather low on our to-do list...

You may find Sonic Couture's Kim useful, which is the Thai version of Yangqin.

Cool. I like Kim's sound :) I may end up using that.

why would a yang qin be low on your to-do list? having heard kim, i'd think this would be a natural for your suite. looks like kim then...
overthrow KRAPITALISM ! you have nothing to lose but your claims.

Hmmm, Kim requires separate ROMpler software, huh? (Kontakt or EXS24). No straight VST format :(

I asked once before about a guqin and was told there would eventually be one.
Has that changed?

Hi Gary, Guqin is not likely to happen anytime soon, sorry.
