Now I know this is by design, ie, the effects only cut in while they are 'highlighted' on the sequencer graph but heres my problem. Im using Effectrix at the end of a drum passage having delay kick in right before the section of audio finishes.

What happens obviously is the delay trail stops as soon as the audio / delay 'line' in the sequencer window isnt on the timeline anymore.

Now what I have done to get around this in a fashion is have another pattern int the sequencer that has the delay going right accross the screen. This sort of works but it would be so much simpler if I could just get the delays to ring out originally.
Does anyone have any ideas or am I talking jibberish?

you can do that with any delay by setting it up as a send in your host and then automating the effect send to be full on for just the notes you want echo'd.

You don't need effectrix for that effect at all.

Hi Mitch

Yeah cheers, but im talking about having the delay stutter on and off before fading out as well as reverse, vinyl and filter. I could of course use another delay and automate the shit out of it but I sooner prefer the simplicity and integration of Effectrix. Im just wondering if theres a simple way of getting it to continue that im missing :?

Hi, each effect has an Attack and Release parameter, so it can fade in when a step is reached and fade out after the step has ended.
Just pull up the release in the delay effect to make it sound longer than the actual step.

hope that helps,
