Hi,
below you can find a remix of 3am's Oceanside that can be found here:
Oceanside thread
and his own remix can be found here:
A tiny Fraction thread.
Here is my version that is relatively sedated with regard to the original and slightly shorter than his own very good 'remix':
Timberlake * Dubnoise * 224 kBps * 4,3 MB
It's built from tiny samples (taken from his Oceanside stems package that can be found in the first thread), a bunch of VST's and only one stab at an electric piano. The best way to enjoy may be by using headphones. Hope you like it.
Kind regards, Slug (37,2°C)

Wow, this is really original! I love it. The bass line is really nice and I love the quiet soundscape at the end.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sounds great. Very clean and organized version of this track. Enjoyed it. Very groovy rhythm.

Hi 3am and Jazzyspoon,
thanks for the words guys... nice to hear
3am, the soundscape at the end sounds somewhat like parts of your own remix. What I did was stretch your orignal and complete song to a lenght of 20 minutes and some 18 secs (wanted to provide that stretched version, but it is much faster if those who are interested do it themselves). It generates a wasteland of sound, especially in the parts where your breaks and distorted drums go crazy. It's worth the try. It used to be the start of a samplemanipulation 'technique' that I used when I started toying around with computers and sound.
In case anyone would be interested in my samples, a pack can be found here.
Kind regards, Slug

beautiful rendition from the 3am sounds, Slug. wonderful restraint and "deliberate-ness" to this and yes- the soundscape die away ending is a special treat. I could listen to that sort of thing for hours...sounds a little like what you might hear at a street side cafe on Rigel 7.
(fwiw- I love the super stretch as a means of finding completely new sounds too. it's really amazing what you can find sometimes in the most unlikely places, innit?)

My only complaint: I wish it were longer.
Really cool stuff, Slug!
