This topic should get all the controversy going.
I have spent most of my life hiding in the shadows, due to stage fright and confidence issues (maybe I am not good enough, what if no one likes my music etc, that kind of thing) but have always wanted to perform my music to a live audience.
I have now come to a point in my life where I could not give a damn. Life is too short so I am going to get on with it for better or for worse.
So there is no misunderstanding. This topic is NOT about, is MU.MAB more stable in Windows or mac. I am sure Jo's programming is excellent in both.
One of the reasons for finally choosing Ableton Live 8 is that is an excellent performance DAW and is also happy in both Windows and mac.
* Now to the point of the topic. *
MU.LAB is steady as a rock. It is programmed for both Windows and mac.
I have always been a Windows user and zero mac experience.
After M3 is released, I am pretty sure it will be my performance DAW of choice.
I will need to purchase two new laptops (one for backup).
Should I buy Windows or mac, which OS is best for live performances?
I will set the scene. You are walking on stage on your own. Your Stratocaster around your neck. MU.LAB will be playing your background sets for you. The spot light turns on you. (gulp!)
Windows or mac OS?
