For the most part Urs' license policy as been:
1. Release a new product at a discount.
2. Subsequent point releases are all free updates. Keep in mind a point update doesn't necessarily reflect the amount of changes Urs adds in. Zebra 2.1 - Zebra 2.5 is very different with Zebrify, new filter modes, XMF, XMF reworked, side-band modules, new factory presets, and tons of minor updates and bug fixes.
3. Reasonable ugrade fees between major point releases. From my understanding Zebra 1 owners were able to upgrade to Zebra 2 for a very reasonable rate.
And of course, this pricing applies to all the plugins; UHBIK, ACE, MFM, and Filterscape.
Top it off that Urs is a super helpful and responsive guy, the gear sounds top-notch, the prices are very competitive, and the terms of license are very generous. As others have said on this forum before, it's just simpler to buy all the plugins.
Hope this helps.
