Bulent,
I had a go at trying to make a control map for SM and in doing so ran into paramaters that just wouldn't map starting with the envelopes. At 44 pages it could be the biggest synth for mapping Arp2600V and Crystal notwithstanding. I know this probably isn't your focus right now but please consider this as you go along. I'm using a novation Remote zero SL controller because it has the most knobs of any of them....I'm trying to get away from mouse editing as much as possible.
Is it possible to make the filter and pole choices button toggable?
Automap?

Like, when you press a button on your MIDI controller, you want to be able to change the value of a "discrete" parameter, did I get it correctly?Gothboy wrote: Is it possible to make the filter and pole choices button toggable?
I'll write that down for 2.6 feature requests.
And yes, you are right, we have way too many parameters (around 5000 I guess)

Bulent,
Well, not really "discrete" just not a knob that's turned but a button that let's you choose between the filter types. The Remote Zero and all the other Novation controllers have not only knobs but buttons that let you choose between "Normal and toggle" so if you have say 5 filter types it allows you to toggle through them all provided the Automap code has been written in. I'm pretty sure the code is freely available from Novation. Basicly there's 2 schools: M-audio Directlink/autolink and Novations' automap. I'm somewhere in between because I use the Novation Zero AND an M-audio controller.
I don't know why I couldn't map some of the modules like the envelopes. I also wanted to report flashing red in the filter module whenever I turned a knob in the filter after it was mapped to the controller.
