When I set an lfo to square, rand hold etc it works as it should, ie instantly changing the value according to the steps, until I start playing the project (in Reaper) which gives it a quick slide between the steps. Even with no midi data at all in the project just start playback is enough to screw it up and there is no way to get it back. What do I need to do?

As I've heard it before... it must be some kind of auto-midi-learn...
do you have the latest version 2.5.2?
Check if the LFO slew changes from fast to slow once starting playback or something...

Does anyone know if this happens in other daws too?
I think it's 2.5.3ee wrote: do you have the latest version 2.5.2?

What do you mean with "slew changes"? It doesn't change the rate it just adds a slide.

I remember I had a similar problem with v. 2.5.1 but in my case it wasn't the midi learn.MrB2 wrote:What do you mean with "slew changes"? It doesn't change the rate it just adds a slide.
A "slew" switch has been added to the LFOs with the 2.5.2 update.
If set to "slow" the LFO shapes begin to "glide"

It does sound like an unintended midi-learn... :::tries to remember where the file is:::MrB2 wrote:When I set an lfo to square, rand hold etc it works as it should, ie instantly changing the value according to the steps, until I start playing the project (in Reaper) which gives it a quick slide between the steps. You could peek into the manual instead (wink-wink). OK, I'll quote it for you:pdxindy wrote:It does sound like an unintended midi-learn... :::tries to remember where the file is:::
Note: MIDI Learn assignments are global for all patches in all instances of Zebra2, and are stored at the following locations (you might like to put an alias on your desktop!):
Win ...\VstPlugins\u-he\Zebra2.data\Support\com.u-he.Zebra2.midimap.txt
Mac ~/Library/Application Support/u-he/com.u-he.Zebra2.midimap.txt

MrB2.. best you should update to the latest version... as I said, it worked for me!
Just backup your patches in case something goes wrong.
