So I just finished putting the finishing touches on the instrumentation for the last track of my album "Selfwatcher". The new track "Ambition" is bigger, badder, weirder, and ready to melt faces:

All guitars were created with Shreddage 2 and Shreddage Bass:

I use Amplitube 3 for all my guitar and bass amping, and more specifically, I use the Gallien-Krueger amp and cab on all things bass. It's got a bit of a "Tool" sound that reminds me of what you hear on their album "Lateralus." EQ has a rolloff at the bottom just because it's too much bass otherwise and eats my compressor. I use Maximus for all my compression needs, and that actually typically just goes on the master channel. The bass amp has a reverb "rack unit" added as well (inside Amplitube) just for a bit of subtle ringout/room noise.

this is truly awesome... even your shifts from metal to etherial guitar sounds... just a wonderful piece. Now I understand what Progressive Metal is all about

Best shreddage I've ever heard. FWIW, this has convinced me to jump into the shreddage canyon! Gotta get it now! You, sir have sold me... :D
