Not only that. All plugins that are using the matrix will also have this facility now (MFM2, etc.).

OK, that's just awesome. I knew I needed to update these plugins.

It is the truth indeed. I was idly messing about with Zebra's mod matrix after updating to the latest version the other day, and out of habit from using Hive, drag n dropped to targets. Very disorienting when it unexpectedly worked. Thought I was dreaming so had to come on here to check, and lo and behold - someone reported the same. Haven't tried it for the XY matrix yet though. Pleasant upgrade. You also realise that Zebra has 9 modulation slots(only counting the matrix), and Hive has 24.

yes, but did you count how many more you have inside the modules?tedlogan wrote:You also realise that Zebra has 9 modulation slots(only counting the matrix), and Hive has 24.

Not enough me say!hollo wrote:yes, but did you count how many more you have inside the modules?tedlogan wrote:You also realise that Zebra has 9 modulation slots(only counting the matrix), and Hive has 24.
Zebra is VERY capable of physical modeling... the only thing IMO stopping it to achieve superstar status in that respect is having more room within the mod matrix.

update to the latest version, go a modulation slot, click on the target "none" and drag to any modulate-able parameter.maurone dj wrote:Maybe I'm blind but how do you mean by that?

hehe, fully aware of the insane amount over all the modules, hence me stating "only counting the matrix". I just thought I'd point out something trivial I came across. In my head, Zebra always has more than anything else I have, so I was surprised when I observed this triviality.hollo wrote:yes, but did you count how many more you have inside the modules?tedlogan wrote:You also realise that Zebra has 9 modulation slots(only counting the matrix), and Hive has 24.
Thinking about it now though, I have come to love Hive's modmatrix and its associated workflow. I'd prefer if all modulations could be housed together in Zebra's modmatrix for better organisation. As far as I know, there's no overview of what's modulated via blank modulation knobs in modules in Zebra. Things can get messy remembering what's modulating what. Therefore I think I'd prefer a super modmatrix - an overview in itself - but 9 slots is not enough.

That's a good point, and I agree.3ee wrote:Zebra is VERY capable of physical modeling... the only thing IMO stopping it to achieve superstar status in that respect is having more room within the mod matrix.
