No Input device assignment to tracks in Tracktion 4

When I create a new project in Tracktion 4 there are no input devices to arm.

I found the answer,1) Use both your USB hookup and an audio connector. on the left side of the edit page, you will see the inputs section. If you see no input device icon (shaped like a little boat) click on the button just to the left of the "racks" button in the upper right hand side of the page. Clicking on the input device icon will show what devices Tracktion is prepared to accept. Assuming you have installed the correct driver for your Motif, it will show up there. (If you still have to do this, I may be able to help you). At the bottom of the page, you will need to select a channel number. If I remember right, this needs to match the number for the MIDI clip that you will be recording into. Inside the device icon, the "R" button needs to be armed in order to record. Now, you are ready to record MIDI. Record your MIDI track. Thank You artlowell
