Does anyone have samples that I could use as a steady, synchable beat? I have a friend who is asking me to create a project for her. I searched online and found a few, but it's hard to find one that is steady or even had enough to cut and slice to make a decent bar that would go back to back with continuity.

Any help is much appreciated.

You don't need a whole bar, just one cycle of half a second that loops over & over would do as well, not?

Thanks - I did not find those. And I'm sure you're correct in that I could edit a portion and loop it. Trying to get it to synch, however, is what I'm thinking will be a headache. I was hoping there was an existing loop that was synchable. I'll give this a shot - I've got some time on my hands.

Just create a kontakt instrument and fire it from a midi file.

Hmmm, I've never done that in Kontakt - that sure made it easier work with the wav in the loop editor. Thank you!

Python - classic. And now for something completely different...In Michael Palin's biography, he said the BBC didn't have any problems with censoring the boobs being shown, it was when Arthur shouted out "Jesus Christ!" that they were concerned. :ud:
