everyone knows that he is dead, but i wonder if you know that tonnes of people celebrate the birthdays of the deceased who they nevertheless have a great deal of respect for, or are fond of.ghettosynth wrote:Micheal Jackson is dead so he won't be having a 60th birthday.

Why would you celebrate a dead persons birthday? Its not like they will get to blow the candles out...

I guess they want to imagine Micheal blowing candles in heaven, or wherever he might be.AnX wrote:sleepcircle wrote:everyone knows that he is dead, but i wonder if you know that tonnes of people celebrate the birthdays of the deceased who they nevertheless have a great deal of respect for, or are fond of.ghettosynth wrote:Micheal Jackson is dead so he won't be having a 60th birthday.

Birthdays are celebrated for people that are alive not for those who are dead because it marks a year since he has been born and also the years he is alive

I don't see why you shouldn't celebrate the anniversary of someone's birth, even if he/she is dead. After all it's birthday, not ageday.
That aside: imo the ee-he idea is pretty funny
