At the moment I have some trouble recording audio with waveform 8. I tried to record several times, but it does not work at all. To demonstrate the problem I put up a video on youtube (not listed, please do not share outside the forum).
First I thought it might be a Hardwareproblem, as even Audacity refused to record and my old M-audio Audiophile 24/96 is still in use, but after a while I could at least get Audacity to work, so it might still only be software/driver caused, eventhough this Soundcard is more or less a methusalem and it could be that there is still a hardware problem, I am not sure about this, because this problem came out of the blue and when the troubles began I tried out a lot of configurations but nothing seems to work in waveform.
Did anyone of you experienced similar problems and might have a solution? Thank you very much
