so my band "theShut" recently released its first ep called "AwwShit" on bandcamp. Would be cool if you could all have a listen and let us know what you think. Eventhough it's already been released please feel free to offer mix or mastering suggestions if you have some. There will certainly be a next ep soon that could benefit....

here's the link to the record:

the lack of resonance surely is due to him recording his own songs.... man, why can't he be fragile like the rest of us.

in all seriousness though. If it weren't for the 0% monocompatibility this would be a cool record. Why on earth does everyone listen in mono nowadays. But if you're on a stereo system... do check this out. :phones:

they thomekk,

I thought I'd drop by and see what's happening around here. glad to see there still some familiar faces (names I mean)

and thanks :) - I'm currently learning how to make mixes more mono compatible. never knew it was so hard and that there are huge differences even in commercial tracks.

when I started I couldn't care less about mono compatibility because radio and TV were out of reach anyway. But nowadays all those little bluetooth speakers or some sonos systems are mono only....
