For anyone who has installed OneDrive on Windows, and has backupped "Documents" folder in OneDrive, onedrive would redirect your Documents folder to Onedrive\Documents, and it could cause Ample Sound instruments not being able to installed properly or not loading sample library.
So please carefully check if "Documents" folder is at its original location, i.e., C:\Users\[your ID]\Documents. If not, please follow the procedures below to redirect your "Documents" folder to its original location:
1. go to OneDrive Settings
2. choose "Backup"-"Manage backup"
3. choose to stop backup for "Documents" folder
If you have already uninstalled Onedrive, then you have to install it again, and repeat the procedures above.

Good information. If I'd had this when I bought one of your plugins, I could have saved a lot of hours and disappointments.
Thanks so much for making this information available. I think this should come standard with your product installation instructions as it will avoid people having to go through what I have gone through.
Best,
Mike

For Windows users who have OneDrive installed and enabled backup for the “Documents” folder, OneDrive may redirect your Documents folder to:
C:\Users\[YourUserName]\OneDrive\Documents
Instead of the original location:
C:\Users\[YourUserName]\Documents
This change may cause Ample Sound instruments to fail to install properly or fail to load the sample libraries, because our software relies on the default Documents path.
How to Fix the Issue
Please follow the steps below to restore your Documents folder to its original location:
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open OneDrive Settings
• Click the OneDrive icon in the taskbar
• Go to Help & Settings → Settings
2. Go to Backup Tab
• Click the “Backup” tab, then click “Manage backup”
3. Stop Backup for Documents Folder
• In the popup window, uncheck the box for Documents
• This will stop OneDrive from redirecting your Documents folder
• Confirm your selection
4. (Optional) Reinstall OneDrive if Already Removed
• If you have already uninstalled OneDrive, you will need to reinstall it, and then follow the steps above to stop backup.
5. Verify Folder Location
• Open Windows Explorer and confirm that the folder C:\Users\[YourUserName]\Documents exists and is no longer under OneDrive\Documents.
After Fixing
Once you’ve restored the folder location:
• Reinstall the Ample Sound software
• If needed, reinstall the sample libraries
• Run the plugin again – it should now load correctly
