SM 2.9.9. Preset Expansion problems.

Howdy All,

Wondering about the Preset Expansions in SM 2.9.9. I received a number of Preset Expansions via a Novation giveaway and I have them loaded on my computer but they aren't in my User Area Expansions list. Anyways, I've put those .smpb and .smar files in a variety of place - in my Presets folder, in a new folder via Presets > Expansions, I've changed the SynthMasterPresets.xml file to point to these Bank files but every time I restart SM the file returns to its pre-modified state. None of these option works. Also, when I try to 'Import Preset Bank' the dialog is looking for a .zip file and I don't have such a file.

Part of the problem is that I have two different User accounts; one for my SM & SM One licenses and another for the Expansions I received from Novation.

So, the big question is -- where do I put my preset .smpb and .smar files and how do I get SM and SM-One to load them??

Hi Scott,

We recommend you to download your expansions from within SynthMaster browser:
You can check page 22 in our user Manual.
 Go to the preset browser by clicking on the Browser button
 Right click on the Banks list, click on the “Restore my preset banks” menu:

Also you can put your presets to Documents / SynthMaster / Presets folder.
