I've used automation to automate the slide speed... however, when I close/re-open ableton, and re-play the clip, the automation doesn't work.. however, if I manually adjust the Slide Speed within Stratus in Kontakt, then it starts working again... until I close/re-open again.
I tried this with automating the 'Tone' property, and the same result.

Maybe.. I tried a variety of configurations of Ableton 11 > Komplete Kontrol VST/VST3 > Kontakt 6/7 VST/VST3 > with Shreddage as well as a Native Instruments Kontakt Instrument (Alicia's Keys)... all with the same behavior as it relates to automation being disabled...
