My trusty TCE Impact Twin finally died... Since I had pretty solid performance on firewire, I thought I'd try and stick with it if I could. I noticed the Avid MBox 3 Pro is pretty close to the Impact Twin in terms of specs and I/O -- and can be had fairly cheap in the used market.
Anyone using one reliably on Windows 10? (I'm not on Pro Tools if it matters).
Anyone using an Avid MBox 3 Pro Interface on Windows?

Not used the MBox 3, but we've (still) got MBox 1s and MBox 2 and MBox 2 Minis at work; I'd say that Avid's longevity of driver support is a bit crap. Ive got an MBox2 on my desk and while it does still work with my Win10 laptop, there's no official support beyond 8.1, and you're stuffed on a Mac OS released in the last decade, so caveat emptor on that front. There's one single Win10 driver release for the MBox3 and its literally 9 years old today!

Also, Pro version is Firewire, isnt it? Might make things trickier still.
