Synthmaster 2 will not launch after installation of Synthmaster 3.

I would like to know if anyone else has seen this issue; support at KV331 say they cannot reproduce this problem. Clean installs of both products did not solve the issue.

Previous to installing SM 3, SM2 was running fine. After installing SM 3, when I attempted to run the SM 2 plugin I got the following error message, and my DAW (MOTU Digital Performer, current version) would crash.

After removing SM 3 from my system, SM 2 ran perfectly. I am using a Late 2012 Mac Mini, running Catalina.

I solved the issue. The problem seemed to be corrupt and/or outdated Synthmaster preference files (plist). The problem on my Mac is that these files are in a hidden folder on the top level of the main drive. I used an app called "Find Any File" to find and access them. I deleted all Synthmaster .plist files I could find, and did a complete delete and re-install of all three plugins.
