I have a question regarding CLAP FX: Is there any functional benefit from using CLAP versions of effect plugins? Like improved performance, or actually more routing features or so? Thanks for insight :)

And btw. nice work, as always  Hoping for Zebra Legacy being updated hehe

Thank you.

I think that Parameter Modulation is far superior to Parameter Automation. Latter is destructive, i.e. by erasing the automation lane one can not go back to the original parameter value. Whereas with CLAP's Parameter Modulation feature, one can.

In our CLAP releases, we try to make as many parameters available to Parameter Modulation as we can.
Hoping for Zebra Legacy being updated hehe
We're on it! If these releases get through quickly, we'll be posting public betas of Zebra 2 and Repro 1/5 rather soonishly. Those won't be 100% ready, but they'll add support for CLAP, AAX on AS for each plug-in, and MPE support for Repro-5.

Very cool! :o Thanks for the insight.

I've done extensive regression testing in all DAWs using all possible plugin formats and these were good*. Time to move on and make these official and get RePro with MPE and re-orderable FXs out!

*This is a lie.

Looking so much forward to this! Thanks!

As these three plugins are still in the public beta testing phase and also exhibit the following u-he 'Save Preset pop up screen' scaling bug. Could you please see if you are able to resolve that particular issue, before their official release? Thank you.

We are looking into it. It seems the Windows scaling is scaling up the dialog windows to bigger sizes than it should.

Nice. Any plans for the update of Presswerk BTW?

Post

Updates for Repro, Zebra Legacy and Presswerk are on the way. We hope to have a beta available in a week or so, if nothing goes wrong. There are still a few issues to solve for Repro and Presswerk, but those are mostly concerning the CLAP version. We plan to address these issues during the beta period.

Sounds good! Thanks for the update!

Hi all, we just posted new release candidates, RC2 16742, in the first post of this thread.
We fixed a small issue in Twangström's sidechain feature and improved the dialog scaling on Windows.
Please check it out, especially if you are using the Windows system's UI scaling feature, and let us know if anything looks horribly wrong when opening a dialog window such as the preset save dialog.
If all goes well (knock on wood), we hope for an official release some time next week.

All appears well. The dialog scaling issue I previously reported, appears to have been resolved with these RC2 updates. (see attached image).

u-he - dialog scaling fixed in 9.10.24 RC2 Updates.jpg

The dialog windows of these three plugins all now appear to scale correctly within Windows 11 with the system UI scaling set to 300% (4k native display).

Previously, with the earlier builds of these three (and also some other of u-he) plugins' most recent updates the dialog window was scaling to large to fit within the display. (as I reported here),

Thanks for fixing that issue with these RC2 releases and and for these latest updates.

Presumably, this same dialog window scaling fix will also work its way into the other recently affected u-he plugins (as mentioned in that linked post), in due course?
