Sample loading, coming or not?
Pluginboutique mentioned in a demo video a while ago that sample loading was coming to the Excite Audio Bloom series. But it still seems to be missing and no info on their website.
Anybody know if it is coming or if they scrapped this plan?
I'm mainly interested in the Bloom Bass Impulse.

I’d like it if they would just consolidate all of these into one plugin and then just sell expansion packs for it versus each one having a separate plugin. It’s clear they all use the same engine underneath.
Then add user sample import and boom; winning formula

Confirmed, they just released updates a moment ago for all instruments, which do allow sample import.Alansalomon wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 11:28 am They just updated their range of Bloom devices.

Is it possible to shift a sequence back/forward in the phrase player yet? Not being able to shift patterns makes the randomiser pretty much useless. You'll generate a great pattern, but what sounds like should be the downbeat will start on a random step, like step 9, and there's no way to shift everything so step 9 is now step 1.
Edit - just installed the updates and the sequencer is still rife with UX issues. No shift step feature as mentioned. If you drag a step out to extend it, it automatically deletes all the steps you drag it over, even if you dont commit to the movement. Samples still have to be chosen by a dropdown rather than being able to click on the number and drag up-down. The amount of steps isn't graphically reflected in the main sequencer graphic, it always shows 16. A slew of other illogical decisions.
The sequencer just isn't fun to use at all.

Seems I had crazy timing
Hopefully we soon get some detailed videos on use cases creating basslines with a mix of one-shots or loop segments and per step modulation.

Agree - just been demoing Bloom Drum Percussion, it's crying out for a MIDI sequencer similar to Sonicouture AC-DR / Electrto Acoustic with rotating block, and euclidian sequencers. Shame because it sounds good, but not well designed and kills my CPU on an M3.m-ac wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 6:51 pm Is it possible to shift a sequence back/forward in the phrase player yet? These cannot load any samples longer then 30 seconds.
That's the limitation for the whole series.
