Hi tERMoBLUe,

ChineeKong will be our next step, but you'll have to wait a bit longer.

Sosayweall, I'm very interested in this plugin. I hope you release it (also) as a VST instrument.
Do you know in what price range we can expect this, for example, about the same price as the flute?

Hi MrM,

You should be interested! It sounds simply awesome! :)

ChineeKong is our flagship product, so the pricing will be higher than ChineeWinds for sure. But the actual price still has to be decided. It will be available as a VSTi, and only as a VSTi, unlike ChineeWinds(which is also availabe as giga samplesets).

Finally, the world needed more quality asian percussion like this. Great demo, great sound quality.

Hi Sosayweall,

I've some tech questions about Kong:
1 : if I play a note on my MIDI keyboard, and I press the note very shortly, will the drum sound completely, or will it stop the moment I take my finger of the key? Like; will the cymbals ring out, or not?

2 : how is the crs ; is it a serial that you have to put in once, or do you often have to input some code?

Hi MrM,

1. It can be adjusted with volume ADSR for each channel from the plugin directly.

2. only if you change some hardware components or reformat the harddrive.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sosayweall, the point is, I'm playing it with my drumkit, which will generate a 'note off' very quickly (after the 'note on').
I would love the hear the full drum shot, you think it will play the drum shot (sample) fully?

Could you try it on your MIDI keyboard?

Hi MrM, I thought that should be possible, but I'll have to check with Shan first about this...

Yup, it should work. Just make sure the release knob is up to max (10 seconds), and it'll play the full sample, even if the length of the MIDI note is 1 tick. So yes, it will work on your electronic drumset.

Thanks for the confirmation, Greg. I wasn't sure if my keyboard was sending noteoff till I checked it up with MIDIOX. So it works.
