Oberheim Matrix 6 Library for NI Kontakt

The entire library comprises 80 sound programs (3.5 GB of the finest audio material), which reflect the sound character of this exceptional synthesizer from Oberheim. From powerful basses to typical Oberheim pads and strings, everything is included. All samples were elaborately recorded and are available in 24-bit with a sample rate of 44100 kHz.

In addition, round robins and various velocity layers were recorded in order to achieve the best possible authenticity of the Oberheim Matrix 6. The sound programs were supplemented with digital effects such as delay and the exceptionally good sounding CONVOLUSION reverb from Kontakt. Most of the IR samples required for this come from the famous Sony DPS-V77 and the Lexicon PCM 91.

Furthermore, all sounds can be manipulated in a variety of ways. This includes the excellent sounding resonant 4-pole lowpass filter. Furthermore, an AHDSR envelope can be used to influence the sound, which can then be played using an extensive arpeggiator.

In addition to tonal interventions, various playing aids can also give the sounds more expression, e.g. by adding a portamento. All sound programs can also be operated in unison mode with up to 8 voices.
