12decode releases MWAV and updates MW2E - Microwave I/II/XT Sysex Editor/Bank Librarians for Mac

12decode has released MWAV, a spin-off from the MW2E Waldorf Microwave I/II Editor, which has also been updated.

MWAV v5.3.0 is the first version exclusively for the Microwave 1. The main feature is the completely redesigned sound editor interface and a program bank manager with drag&drop support.

  • A Sound Bank can be opened, for instance "mwsset1.syx" and all sounds can be dumped to the Microwave afterwards.
  • A new Sound Library can be set up.
  • Individual slots in the Sound Library can be initialized.
  • Sounds can be drag&dropped from the Sound Library to the Microwave.
  • Sounds can be drag&dropped from the Microwave to the Finder.
  • Sounds can be drag&dropped from the Finder to the Sound Library.
  • The Microwave table can be updated by selecting either "Request all sounds" or "Request Sound" (for the current selected row).
  • "Edit sound" opens a window for editing a Sound Program.

MW2E is an optimized Microwave II/XT application. The main features include a completely redesigned sound editor interface and program bank manager with drag&drop support.

  • A sound library can be opened, for instance "fact2000-08.syx" and all sounds can be dumped to the Microwave II afterwards.
  • A new sound library can also be set up from scratch.
  • Individual slots in the sound library can be initialized.
  • Sounds can be drag&dropped from the sound library to the Microwave II.
  • Sounds can be drag&dropped from the Microwave II to the Finder.
  • Sounds can be drag&dropped from the Finder to the sound library.
  • The Microwave II table can be updated by selecting either "Request all sounds" or "Request Sound" (for the current selected row).
  • "Edit sound" opens a window for editing a Sound Program.

The programs are ready for download from the 12decode website or may be automatically installed via the "Check for Update" menu item from an earlier version of MW2E.
