Aurora DSP releases Grim3 - free overdrive plugin based on the This Heavy Earth Effects pedal

Aurora DSP has announced the release of Grim3, a free overdrive plugin based on the This Heavy Earth Effects pedal.

Designed primarily as a front-end boost for amplifiers and amp simulators, Grim3 provides controls for tightening low frequencies, shaping the overall tone, and enhancing attack and clarity. The plugin can be used as a transparent clean boost, a tone-shaping tool, or a more aggressive overdrive effect.
