8UP has released 8-Bit Spells, a library of classic NES-style spell and magic effect sounds.
From fiery blasts to shimmering auras, these effects capture the retro sound of casting magical attacks, bestowing mystical powers, and summoning elemental energy.
The samples are organized into five categories:
- Fireballs – long, noisy blasts of fire and flames.
- Enchantments – bright, high-pitched jingling tones.
- Projectiles – fast flying bursts of sound.
- Surges – rising whirlwind-like tonal swells.
