8UP is dedicated to recreating the sound of classic NES-era 8-bit games for modern music production. We create sample packs, instruments, drum kits, and sound effects built for chiptune, retro game audio, and productions seeking that unmistakable 8-bit character.

Each pack is designed with close attention to the tonal character and hardware constraints that shaped the original NES sound. The focus is on accuracy, usability, and musicality, resulting in sounds that remain true to the era while integrating naturally into modern workflows.

All sounds are created from scratch, inspired by the style and limitations of classic 8-bit era games. No original game audio is used or sampled in any product.

All 8-bit samples, instruments, drum kits, sound effects (SFX), and sound libraries are 100% royalty-free and ready for use in your music and game projects.

The products are compatible with major samplers and DAWs, including Native Instruments Kontakt & Maschine, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Akai MPC Software, Logic Pro, and TAL-Sampler, with all sounds also available as individual WAV files.
