Akai Pro MPC 1.7.2 Update Released

Akai Pro has released the MPC v1.7.2 software update, with which Akai Pro wishes to foster a community of expansion builders.

New features:

1. New expansion file format: The new MPC "xpn" file format is a self-contained expansion pack bundle that you can easily drag into MPC to install into the expansion browser.
2. MPC Expansion Builder application added, allowing you to create "xpn" expansion pack files. Share your MPC expansions with other MPC users (This is an optional installable item in the MPC installer).
3. Drag a pad onto a Q-Link to quickly assign the Q-Link mapping.
4. Audio Improvements.
5. Bug fixes and stability enhancements.
