Audified releases RecAll - “Record it all” live event capture multichannel MacOS application

-
Audified

Audified has announced the availability of RecAll, a live event capture multichannel MacOS application (developed in Cocoa, directly accessing Core Audio).

RecAll's easy and clear interface allows you to set up your recorder in matter of seconds. It can handle 256 stereo and mono tracks which is far more than you'll ever need.

Instant playback of recorded tracks followed by comfortable setup of multiple strips simultaneously provides a simple and valuable environment. That allows you to not miss an important part of your live event.

RecAll provides two types of meters, automatically toggling during the recording process. When the recording is off, you see the standard meters showing the signal level at the given time. If you start recording, the meters show the signal history, so you don't need to check the meters all the time, especially if the RecAll window is hidden.

RecAll is available to purchase for $49.00 USD from Audified's online shop. The latest version (1.0.2) of RecAll can be directly downloaded for MacOS (10.9 and above) from Audified here.

Two stars for the idea. BUT.

Advice : Test it before you buy. Did not work at all on my Mac Pro, Sierra and Firewire Apollo. No presets created visible in popups, then when trying to create again : Names already taken, but still not visible in any of the popups. No new projects (actually "callpresets") visible in popup even when created by the app itself. When not selecting a valid audio interface FIRST the app throws a very ominous looking error and does not record anything. Wrote dev. Hope they work at it some more or that I am one of.
