beat bars announces new Dual MIDI USB adapter for Foot-switches and Expression Pedals
beat bars has released the E&F2M Dual MIDI USB adapter, a 2-in-1 combination of existing MIDI adapters for footswitches and expression pedals.
In addition, the firmware has been updated and allows to additionally trigger new MIDI messages:
- Real-time MIDI events: Start / Stop, Continue / Stop.
- MIDI Clock events (the tempo can be tapped on footswitch or controlled by a pedal).
- Note-ON messages.
Previous types of MIDI messages, i.e. Control Change (CC), Program Change, Pitch Bend, and Aftertouch are also available. Moreover, the ability to configure the device for footswitches with latching and non-latching buttons (e.g. Boss FS-5L / FS-5U) has been added. For the latter, user can switch between momentary and toggle mode.
Price: €59.90 with free delivery within the EU, and the cost of shipping outside the EU is always €10.
The prices of single adapters have been reduced from €59.90 to €49.90.
