Behringer Announces WASP VCF Eurorack Module
Behringer has announced the WASP VCF Eurorack module, bringing the filter section of their Wasp Deluxe synthesizer to the modular world. This 8HP module emulates the all-analog circuitry of the original 1970s Wasp synthesizer, aiming to recreate its distinctive sound.
The Wasp Deluxe VCF offers three filter modes. A multimode lowpass/highpass filter section allows blending between the two modes, while a separate bandpass filter offers its own dedicated output and resonance control. This configuration allows for complex sound shaping possibilities and simultaneous use of different filter types.
