Cableguys have teamed up with electronic music pioneer BT to release Snapback, a new plugin designed to simplify the process of drum layering. Snapback allows users to add punch, style, and flair to their drums by layering new samples on top of existing ones.
Snapback offers two distinct layering sections. The Transient section adds punch and body to your drums with a variety of click, analog transient, and tail samples. The unique Snapback section, however, allows you to insert a short reversed sound or texture before the transient to add groove and character to drums.
With Snapback, users can achieve pre-shifted claps or inject unique textures into kicks and snares. The plugin's workflow eliminates the process of manually layering and aligning samples.
