Fracture Sounds has released Compendium: Eldenvale, an expansive toolkit of fantasy-themed instruments for Kontakt that "invites composers into a world of wandering knights, hidden forests, and secret taverns, where every instrument tells a story".
Developed from years of sampling and scripting experience, Eldenvale brings together over 25 instruments designed for playability, expressive depth, and creative versatility. From the airy tones of forest voices to the bright shimmer of dulcimer strings and the warmth of a chamber string ensemble, each sound has been captured to evoke a sense of atmosphere and authenticity.
Whether composing for a fantasy game or adding a folky edge to cinematic scoring, Eldenvale offers a broad palette that bridges the worlds of fantasy and folk music.
