HoRNet Plugins has announced the release of Corrosion version 1.1.2, delivering enhanced compatibility and modernized architecture for the ring modulation distortion plugin.
The update introduces native Apple Silicon support for the AAX format, allowing Pro Tools users on M1, M2, M3 and M4 Macs to run the plugin without compatibility layers. This implementation provides improved performance and reduced CPU usage compared to the previous Rosetta-translated version.
Additional improvements include an updated VST3 SDK for enhanced compatibility with current Digital Audio Workstation versions. The company has also streamlined its format support by removing VST 2.4 compatibility, focusing development resources on modern plugin standards.
The free update is available immediately through the HoRNet Plugins installer HoRNet DoIn or through the "my account" page on the HoRNet Plugins website.
