NSD has announced the release of Circlys, an eight track MIDI loop recorder VST plugin for Windows.
Circlys records MIDI data even when the transport of the host sequencer isn't running. This means no hassle with setting tempo, and no more playing along with a metronome. Circlys simply calculates the tempo itself.
When the transport of the host sequencer is active, it synchronizes to the timeline. And, when the sequencer is in loop mode, it still allows to record tracks with lengths different from the cycle length of the sequencer. No need to adapt loop end markers, no more adding clips to align to the correct length a.s.o.
In short, Circlys is designed to be as hassle-free as possible.
