Plughugger has released Maven, a soundset for Arturia Pigments focusing on old-school electronic sounds from the 70s and 80s.
The original sound design goal of Maven was to take the sonic characteristics of the Arturia Minibrute 2 and take the sound further with Pigments with higher polyphony, modulation and effects such as reverb, tape delays and analog chorus and flanger effects.
Maven is a soundset divided into two parts. The first part is based on samples from the Arturia Minibrute 2, and the second part is entirely based on the Minibrute Wavetables in Pigments, from the metallizer, ring modulation to noise.
Maven contains 200 sounds.
