Plughugger has released Smash!, a sound expansion of 150 new sounds for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 with the focus on modern pop sounds for EDM and dance genres.
With Smash!, Plughugger used almost exclusively external samples rather than the built-in sounds of Omnisphere. They recorded the most typical sounds in the genre and tweaked these further with Omnisphere.
Smash! contains 150 sounds in the following categories:
- 30 ARP + BPM.
- 30 Pads + Strings.
- 45 Synth Bass.
- 12 Synth Mono.
- 21 Synth Pluck.
- 12 Synth Poly.
