The industry's best sound designers & recordists contribute to Soundsnap's library as the platform reaches 400,000 sound effects and launches a new interface for lightning speed search filtering.

Coll Anderson, Stuart Morton, Juraj Mravec and others contribute their sounds to the internet's largest subscription-based provider of sound effects, which recently reached a landmark of 400,000 sounds with over 2.5 million registered users.

Soundsnaps new content comes from some of the best names in the industry including, Coll Anderson (Mother! Black Swan, Catfish), Stuart Morton (Band of Brothers, Casino Royale, Mad Max:Fury Road), Juraj Mravec (The Crown, Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones) and Pole Position (Dunkirk, PUBG, Need for Speed), and celebrates the platform's goal of reaching 400,000 sounds.

The growth of the library is a commitment by Soundsnap to expand the library's high-quality material and further develop the inbuilt AI-powered search functionality.

The updated search filtering led to Soundsnap UI 2.0, which allows users to perform in-depth searches with lighting speed, helping them navigate the 400,000 sounds with ease.

Users can now filter based on the initial search term, as well as common tags found within the results. This functionality is included alongside organizing by length of sound, subcategories, and/or library contributor.

Soundsnap founder Tasos Frantzolas says:

"Our goal from the start was to offer the best collection of sound effects in the world through the best website. By reaching 400,000 sounds and launching the new UI features, we reaffirm our commitment to this mission. I'm super excited to see our roadmap come to fruition as we move ahead with innovating in the sound effects space."

To celebrate the library expansion and improved functionality, Soundsnap is giving away 1 month of free access to the platform for new users through the 7th of March.
